Terms of Service

1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms govern your use of SeleVista, Creator Studio and related services operated by Sele Media Africa and built by SeleTech Ltd. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

You must meet the minimum age required in your country and be legally able to enter this agreement. If you use SeleVista for an organisation or media branch, you confirm that you are authorised to act for it.

2. Accounts and public identity

Provide accurate information, protect your sign-in methods and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless the law provides otherwise.

Every SeleVista profile is publicly discoverable. Your permanent Sele ID is your public identity and referral code, while your unique username forms your canonical shareable profile link. Sele IDs cannot be changed, transferred or reused after deletion. Private authentication UUIDs and account details such as date of birth, security information, identity documents and payout data are not part of your public profile.

New accounts start subscribed to Sele Media Africa and John Sele Philip. A deterministic 65 percent daily signup cohort also starts subscribed to Daniel Suzan. Where a supported signup country is provided, the account also starts subscribed to the applicable Nigeria, East Africa or Southern Africa Sele Media Page. These starter subscriptions do not enable push notifications and can be unfollowed at any time without being restored automatically.

3. Your content and licence to SeleVista

You keep ownership of content you create. When you upload or publish content, you grant SeleVista a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process, transcode, store, reproduce, distribute, display, recommend and promote that content only as needed to operate and improve the service.

The licence ends when content is deleted, except for copies reasonably retained for security, legal compliance, disaster recovery or content already shared outside SeleVista. You must have the rights and permissions required for every video, image, caption, music track, performance and person appearing in your content.

4. Acceptable use and safety

Do not use SeleVista for illegal activity, harassment, exploitation, impersonation, fraud, manipulated engagement, malware, privacy violations, dangerous conduct or content that infringes another person’s rights.

Do not interfere with the platform, evade security or moderation controls, scrape protected data, automate invalid ad interactions, or encourage accidental clicks. Comments, replies, remixes and downloads remain subject to the same safety rules as original posts.

5. Music, remixes, downloads and watermarks

Only use music and audio you created, licensed, or selected from a library that expressly permits your intended use. A remix or reused sound does not transfer copyright ownership or excuse infringement.

Where downloading is enabled, SeleVista may add a moving watermark or creator attribution. Do not remove rights-management information or use downloads in a way that violates the creator’s rights or applicable law.

6. Creator monetisation, ads and tips

Creator monetisation, advertising revenue shares, tips and payouts are available only where enabled and may require eligibility, identity, tax, policy and payment verification. Estimated earnings are not guaranteed until validated and payable.

Do not click your own ads, ask others to do so, manipulate impressions, purchase invalid traffic or use automated systems to inflate engagement. We may withhold, correct or recover amounts connected to invalid activity, refunds, chargebacks, fraud or provider adjustments.

7. Moderation, suspension and account deletion

We may restrict distribution, remove content, suspend features or disable accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, comply with law or preserve platform integrity. Where appropriate, appeal or support routes may be available.

You may request account deletion through Account & Privacy. Deletion may be delayed where records must be kept for fraud prevention, legal obligations, unresolved disputes or financial reconciliation.

8. Service availability and responsibility

We work to keep SeleVista safe, reliable and available, but the service may change, experience interruptions or depend on third-party networks and providers. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without guarantees that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Questions about these Terms can be sent to info@selemedia.tv.
